Welcome to DPAK Sacco, The Domestic Workers Sacco, where we empower domestic workers with skills, power, and confidence to make informed financial decisions. Founded by members of the Domestic Professional Association of Kenya, our Sacco is dedicated to the recognition and professionalization of domestic work, as well as the financial well-being of domestic workers.
Our journey began with the support of the Centre for Domestic Training and Development (CDTD), which provided the necessary operational support and guidance to formalize our Savings and Credit Cooperative. Since our inception, we have conducted over 20 virtual and 10 physical training sessions on personal financial management. The Moneywise Domestic Workers program has successfully trained 3000 domestic workers, both virtually and through physical sessions.
At DPAK Sacco, our mission is to extend our services to domestic workers in Kenya and abroad, offering them savings, credit, and investment opportunities. Through our efforts, many domestic workers have been able to achieve their financial goals, making significant contributions to the economy of our country.
This achievement is a testament to the inclusion of domestic workers in the financial system, and we proudly declare, "#HiiNiYetu," meaning "This is Ours."
